Expanding Business (we hope)

Today was a big day for Destination Events! Today, we expanded our "fleet" of vehicles. Each year, we try and nurse along our very aged 1986 Isuzu box truck and each year, we end up putting about $5-6,000 into repairs on it. This year, we decided to finally make the switch to a newer model and today, was the day! We found a great deal on a 2004 box truck and we also got a 2004 cargo van for a steal. For the price we were anticipating spending on one box truck, we got two vehicles instead. Casey is a happy man! He no longer has to stew and fret over his guys breaking down on a long delivery out of town. We are keeping the old vehicle, it will just be used for local deliveries. Now, he needs to generate enough business this summer to warrant all of these vehicles! We'll see what happens.

This little gem was a steal of a deal...(it replaces the cruddy toyota pickup that broke down on the freeway....see previous post) :)

Casey cannot survive without a big truck like this one. It delivers everything...tables, chairs, inflatables, sound equipment! (Casey also uses it to help ward members and friends move)
