The Beach!!!

It has been quite a while since we've been at the beach on a perfectly sunny day. Whenever we go, it's usually cold and wet. On Friday, we lucked out and had the most splendid sunshine and warmth. The water even seemed somewhat warm! We spent the whole day at our favorite place, "Devil's Elbow." We like it because it's totally enclosed by cliffs and the wind isn't too crazy.

Lydia's hair is looking a little wild....I think she needs a haircut :)

Allison and cousin Joseph were the most drawn to the water. Allison had no problem rolling around in the water fully clothed.

there was just enough wind to fly a kite (barely). Maggie takes her turn.

I just love this picture of cousin Sam. He LOVED the beach!

There was a fort that had already been constructed of driftwood on this beach. The kids spent the whole day coming in and out of it.
