Sick

We've had quite a horrendous couple of days. On Tuesday night, Charlotte wasn't feeling too well. She called us on our cell phones ( we were at Grandma Walburger's visiting with Matt and Kristen Walburger and their kids) to tell us that she had thrown up. A few minutes later, Jillian announced that she wasn't feeling good so Casey took her home. Once everyone was settled for the night, Jillian started throwing up. Charlotte was puking every 10 minutes. At about 11:00, Allison comes running out of her room, launching vomit down the hall. That's 3...how much worse can it get? At midnight, Charlotte was vomiting so hard that blood was coming up. We decided to take a drive to Urgent care. When we got there, it was standing room only and they told us it would be many hours before she could be seen. So, thinking she'd be more comfortable throwing up in her own bathroom than the hospital waiting room, we took her home. By 1:30 a.m., Maggie came in and annonced that she had thrown up on the couch. (where she was sleeping). That's 4 kids sick at the same time. Needless to say, our house was carnage. Comforters were filthy, floors and carpets were gross, and I was exhausted! The next day improved a bit and I was able to get the floors shampooed and the bedspreads and sheets washed and dryed. We have never in the history of having children, had 4 kids sick at the same time. I'm not sure what's better...having them all get it at once and getting it over with or having them get it one at a time and sparing a few bedspreads. Anyway, sorry for the gross post...just keeping it real!
